The Requirement
All organisations that have access to NHS patient data and systems must complete the DSP (Data Security and Protection) Toolkit to measure their performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 data security standards. Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus certification provides some of the data security evidence required by the Toolkit. Organisations are also required to receive an annual penetration test. Interface approached DigitalXRAID for support in achieving Cyber Essentials Plus certification and to carry out a penetration test.
