We are currently all experiencing a new world with COVID-19. Many of us are in isolation, schools are closing and we don’t know what to expect next.
What does that mean for the world of cyber?
Here, at DigitalXRAID, we have actually seen an increase in phishing attacks due to COVID-19. People are looking for more information about the virus and hackers are taking advantage of the vulnerable.
What can you do?
- Employ a zero trust policy
- Don’t click on email links unless you know and trust the source
- Encourage employees & colleagues to do the same
- Be vigilant
This is even more key if you and/or your employees are working from home. Especially if they are using a VPN to access their work network. The threats are very real.
